Business Idea Development Programme STARTERtartu Starts Again! Registration is Now Open!
What is STARTERtartu?
Semester-long STARTERtartu programme is designed for all students who are interested in learning how to develop an idea into working business. During the hands-on workshops you will learn everything you need to know about starting your own business. We will help you to form a team, develop the business model, design marketing strategy and sales. In addition you will gain confidence in pitching. Also, each team will receive individual mentoring from start-up founders, entrepreneurs or experts on the way. The best ideas will be awarded with many prizes.

The programme starts with the Idea Hackathon on 17th of September, 2020 at UT Delta Centre where we offer you inspiring speeches on different areas of life, and future trends. It’s a place to unleash your creativity, generate ideas and find inspiration. Come to the Idea Hackathon to join STARTERtartu programm. This time the Idea Hackathon is part of the Delta X ideefestival / Idea Festival.

✅ If you have an idea that could change the world - even a little bit - we will help you to develop and test the idea, find teammates, take first steps and bring your idea to life!
✅ If you don't have an idea then you can find the idea that interests you from the hackathon! Simply show up, listen to different pitches and join the team that you like the best!
You will meet people from different disciplines, form teams and generate ideas to be tested in STARTERtartu programme. Everyone is welcome to pitch their startup or project ideas or to join a team.

Startup Lab gives impetus to Ukrainian business education
7 June marked the end of the two-year international cooperation project "Innosme" led by University of Tartu Startup Lab. The project focused on developing cooperation between Ukrainian entrepreneurs and universities by promoting the development and growth of self-confidence of women entrepreneurs.
First online Student Startup Camp
UT Institute of Computer Science, Garage48, and UT Startup Lab organized the 8th Student Startup Camp that brought together university students from all over Estonia. Due to coronavirus restrictions, the camp took place completely online.
